About Vic

Hello, my name is Victoria Dale and I am a registered midwife with over 20 years’ experience in all areas of midwifery care, including community, labour ward, birthing unit and home birth settings. I have two children who are both adults now and I live with my partner Rob and our fur baby Bubsy!

I am passionate about empowering women to have the best possible birth experience – knowledge is powerful.

With the right knowledge and understanding of what’s happening to you and your baby, birth can be a truly positive and powerful experience.

FAQ

  • What is the best time in my pregnancy to take the classes?

The ideal time to start birth classes is between 32 & 34 weeks pregnant.

  • What makes your online classes different from hospital-based sessions?

My classes are personal, flexible and designed to fit around your schedule. Unlike hospital-based sessions, you can join from the comfort of your own home, invite whoever you like, and access private recordings for 30 days so you can revisit the information whenever you need it.

  • How will these classes help me feel more confident about giving birth?

Knowledge is power when it comes to birth. I’ll guide you through what to expect at every stage, explain your options clearly, and answer any questions you have. My goal is for you to feel informed, supported and ready to make the choices that are right for you and your baby.

  • Do I need any special equipment to join an online session?

No special equipment is needed. All you need is an internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone, such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone. I’ll send you a simple link to join the session.

  • Can my birth partner or family members attend too?

Yes, you’re welcome to invite as many people as you wish. There are no restrictions on how many participants can join, so your partner, family, or friends can all be part of the session and feel prepared to support you.
